“Impossible is just a big word thrown around by small men who find it easier to live in the world they’ve been given than to explore the power they have to change it. Impossible is not a fact; it is an opinion. Impossible is not a declaration; it is a dare. Impossible is potential. Impossible is temporary. Impossible is nothing” ~ Richard Bullock
This quote instantly came to mind after watching the Redbull Stratos mission live on Youtube last night along with millions of people around the world. Felix Baumgartner jumped from the stratosphere (39 044m above the ground) which will make him the first man to break the speed of sound in freefall. He also broke records for the highest skydive, the highest manned balloon flight and the fastest free fall.
I’m no science nerd but it doesn’t take a genius to know that this is the stuff that history is made of! After 5 years of training for this jump, Felix proved that impossible is nothing. I’m really glad that I got to witness something that incredible.
